💸 What to Expect: Pricing & The "Bill"

As you mentioned, Potato Head is a premium destination, and the prices reflect that.

Menu Prices: Expect to pay around 160k - 200k IDR for a signature cocktail and about 150k - 300k IDR for main courses.

The "Plus Plus" (++): In Bali, "++" on a menu means tax and service. At Potato Head, they typically add a 10% Service Charge and 10% Government Tax. When you see your final bill, those extra percentages can make it feel much higher than the initial menu price!

Worth it? Even though it's on the pricier side for Bali, the world-class music, the sunset views, and the upscale service make it an "investment" in a beautiful night out.

📝 How to Visit: Tips & Entry

Getting into Potato Head can vary depending on when you go and where you want to sit.

1 Entrance Fee vs. Cover Charge:

Off-Peak (Before 4:30 PM): Usually, there is no entry fee to just walk in and enjoy the atmosphere.

Peak Sunset Hours (4:30 PM – 7:00 PM): They often implement a Cover Charge (around 250k IDR). The good news? This is usually fully redeemable for food and drinks, so it’s basically like a pre-payment for your first round!

2 Seating & Minimum Spend:

Daybeds: If you want a poolside daybed for the ultimate comfort, there is a Minimum Spend requirement (ranging from 1 million to 2 million IDR depending on the season and spot).

Walk-ins: If you just want a drink at the bar or a quick meal, walk-ins are welcome, and they often have seating areas with no minimum spend requirements.

3 Proximity Advantage:

Because I stayed at Montigo Resorts, I didn't have to worry about transport or traffic. It was just a 3-minute walk! This allowed us to stay late, enjoy our cocktails, and walk back safely and quickly.

✨ The Verdict

Potato Head isn't just a bar; it’s an experience. The vibrant music, the fashion-forward crowd, and the sound of the waves create a magical Bali night. Yes, it’s a splurge, but for the memories and the "gram-worthy" sunset, it’s a must-visit at least once!

Traveler Tip: If you want a good spot for the sunset without paying for a daybed, arrive by 3:30 PM to snag a seat in the open lounge area!
